Liver brownies dog treat recipe
LIVER BOW-WOWNIES
This recipe makes great training treats or show bait and
can be used frozen. If your dog is sensitive to liver, use additional
oatmeal.
1 lb. Beef Liver
3 C. Quick Oatmeal
1 Egg
1 T.
Minced Garlic
Parmesan Cheese
Process oatmeal in food processor until the consistency of
flour. Remove from workbowl and set aside. Pureé the beef liver and
garlic in the food processor. Add egg and blend until incorporated. Add oatmeal
and blend until mixed.
Mixture should resemble the consistency of brownie mix.
Spread evenly on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 45 minutes to an
hour. Remove and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Cool and cut into small pieces.
Refrigerate if using within a day or two, or freeze for longer storage.
