Liver brownies dog treat recipe II
LIVER BOW-WOWNIES II
This recipe can be doubled, but be sure and keep
leftovers in the freezer as they spoil easily.
1½ lb. liver, beef or chicken ½ C.
whole wheat flour 2 T. minced garlic 1 C. white flour ½ C.
corn meal 1 C. grated parmesan cheese extra corn meal (for dusting
cookie sheets)
Process liver and garlic in food processor or blender until
it looks like chocolate milk. Blend in remaining ingredients until
incorporated.
Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and coat with
cooking spray or oil. Dust sheet lightly with additional corn meal and spread
liver mixture evenly onto cookie sheet. Dust top of mixture lightly with
additional corn meal.
Bake in preheated 350° oven 30 minutes, or until no pink
remains. Turn off oven and leave brownies inside until cool. Cut into bite
sized pieces.
